Add and manage documents

Upload files with Alice or manual details, review saved documents, and manage versions.

Add files to your library

  1. Open Documents and select Add document.
  2. Select one or more files. Check each file's size and eligibility message.
  3. Select Fill in details with Alice to extract document details from supported files, or Enter details to fill in a file's details manually.
  4. Wait for each row to show Saved. Use Review to check or correct a saved document, then Save changes. Back to files returns to the batch.
  5. Select Done when finished. Saved files remain in the library even if other files fail or you close the panel.

Alice can fill the name, description, type, active status, and supported due-date and renewal details. Check her suggestions before relying on them. This upload action does not generate controls, risks, or setup findings.

Limits and unsupported formats

A batch can contain up to 100 files and 500 MiB. Manual upload accepts files up to 25 MiB; Alice accepts supported formats up to 50 MiB. The row explains when a format cannot be read by Alice. Use manual entry for those files, within its size limit. Renaming an extension does not convert a file.

Selecting a file alone does not save it. Keep the upload page open while Alice processes the batch; closing the browser does not promise continued processing. These limits differ from setup uploads.

Recover an interrupted upload

Use Retry Alice for a failed Alice row. Saved rows are not uploaded again by that retry. After reloading, reselect unfinished files when requested; use the same original file for an interrupted attempt.

If a save's outcome is uncertain, check the document or library before uploading again to avoid duplicates. Closing or discarding unsubmitted selections clears them from the panel; it does not delete documents already saved.

Edit records and versions

Select a document in the library to edit its details and related controls or inspect file history. Download retrieves a version. Check the Current badge rather than assuming the most recently uploaded file is the approved version. Use the available approval or deletion actions only after checking the selected version and confirmation.

Uploading a new version to an existing record is a separate, single-file action, accepting any file type up to 25 MiB. Uploading approves that version immediately; approved versions cannot be deleted individually. Check the selected record and file before uploading. Compatible current Approved versions, including manually added documents, become searchable by Alice after processing. Unsupported formats remain saved in Plus but cannot be searched by Alice; see Alice's sources.

Create a risk assessment

Select Generate risk assessment from Documents to review your program records and produce a PDF. Follow create and publish a risk assessment, especially the distinction between saving a draft and applying reviewed edits to live records.
